Her size makes her a nice vacation base for a couple. The wheelhouse is light and airy with excellent visibility in all directions and under all conditions. The aft cabin has a cozier below decks feel. She could easily be fitted with a larger engine and increased fuel capacity to make her a motorsailer, though a 28 hp diesel would fit her nicely giving her enough reserve for hull speed of 7 knots. Her sail area is moderate, which is good for high wind areas, and could easily be increased if she were designed for light wind locales. Her original design plus a drifter for those light days makes her ideal for offshore work. |
