Her light displacement allows for economical build. The hull would be sheathed strip planking. Fiberglass construction would also be an option. This boat, although a 45 footer, needs only 50 - 100 hp as opposed to most heavy displacement boats which nowadays have 150 to 250 hp. As of now, this boat is still in the concept stage. |
